After the broad initiative “Rosengarten-Golestan” devoted to Iran at the beginning of 2004, the next meeting proposed less well known or investigated aspects on the same theme.
“Stories of Magi and of Kurds” - the title evokes figures already known to us, the wise guided by a star and the troubles of a people distributed over a wide area that covers several countries. T he Christian Iranians and the Kurds living on Iranian territory were the object of these conferences . Mario Nordio included an itinerary on Christian and Magi places on Lake Urmia, while Rodolfo Ragionieri presented an excursus on the Kurdish question for the period after the first World War until today.
