WHAT IS IT?
It's a language volunteer project aimed at foreign "learners" with a basic knowledge of Italian / German  who need to acquire greater fluency and confidence in speaking this language with the aim of using it daily and for social purposes. The "volunteers" are mother tongue speakers or people with excellent fluency in Italian or German who also have a desire to share the language in an easy and informal manner and to spend a few hours talking with a learner.
“Parla con me…in italiano” and "Ich gebe mein Deutsch weiter" with its alternative way of language sharing represents the opportunity to challenge oneself while meeting new people.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Volunteers “offer” 10 hours of their own time, generally – but not compulsory – one hour a week. Volunteers and learners are then free to get in touch with each other.

Volunteers and learners agree upon a date, times of the meetings and topics of conversation. The meetings are not supposed to be lessons. An advisor will assist both on their first meeting and she/he will remain available in case of further enquiries. Enrolment is free. All the participants need to be 18 years or older.

HOW CAN I ENROL?
