The Nature Park House for the Sextner Dolomiten Nature Park and for the eastern part of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park is located in the Cultural Center Grand Hotelulturzentrum Grand Hotel in Toblach, which has been bought and renovated by he authorities of the province.


The visitors can find information about the natural and cultural landscapes of both nature parks, about the geological formation of the area, about the war events on the Dolomiten front and about tourism in the Sextner Dolomiten Nature Park. In our workshop visitors can rediscover nature with their eyes, nose, ears and hands. There is also an aquarium with frogs and amphibians. Multi-vision shows give insights into the diversity of South Tyrol 's nature parks.


Since July 2003, the WoodWonderworld in the forest behind the nature park house can be visited by children and adults. It is the first section of an activity trail which starts at the Grand Hotel Toblach and will be extended in the coming years.

Opening hours: from Christmas 2010 to the 31th of March 2010, from the 4th of May to the 30th of October 2010 and from the 28th of december 2010 to 31th of March 2011, from Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30 - 12.30 and 16.00 - 19.00. During the Summer months of July and August opened also on Sundays. During the Summer months microscope workshops, as well as treasure hunts in the adjacent forest are organized for children.
