The Kirchler Mineralogical Museum shows over 1,000 mineral exhibits originating from the Zillertaler Alps and the Hohe Tauern, collected over the decades. Special attractions are the biggest smoky quartz crystals of the area and the quartz cluster from the Prettau mine. The multimedia section of the museum shows the formation of the minerals, their search and their labored find as well as their curative effect.
