The initiative devoted to Iran had a rich and various programme: for more than a month exhibitions, conferences and film projections traced the complex cultural, historical and artistic portrait of Iran, from the Persian roots to the present. The title “Rosengarten-Golestan: Iranian Culture Art History ” referred to the two ideal “rose gardens” (being the meaning of the word Golestan) blooming in our two countries.
